Get the Word Out about ARTLANTIS

We’re very excited for our 3rd annual ARTLANTIS Arts and Music Festival! Westarted Artlantis for the same reason we started Beep Beep Gallery: to showcase and encourage the work of local emerging artists.

Bands play on the church steps throughout the day

By creating a festival, we hope to not only expose visitors to a section of the Atlanta art scene that they wouldn’t usually encounter at most summer festivals, but alternatively to expose the artists to a larger audience they may not normally encounter in their day to day.

Last year we increased the booths from 20 to 50 and added more food vendors. We also doubled our attendance from 700 to almost 1500. This year, we’re already planning more ways to increase our visibility as well as the overall quality of the festival.

Artlantis is an all day summer festival that takes place on the lawn of Druid Hills Baptist Church. Unlike other Atlanta festivals, Artlantis is unique in that it exclusively showcases art and music from local talent. With ever-gaining momentum, Artlantis is well on it’s way to being a local tradition.

Atlanta’s press has been supportive in promoting Artlantis. Here are a couple mentions and articles about us:

We will continuously be promoting the festival but need your help. Like all budding traditions, Artlantis requires community to shape and support it. For the festival to truly thrive, it needs participants and supporters to take a moment to promote it, as well. There are many reasons why you would want to promote Artlantis:

◊    As a festival that aggressively features local artists, we are providing a space for local artists to make a living, and as such, helping Atlanta’s art scene flourish.

◊    Participating artists offer their best work at affordable prices. Great for local art collectors. And aspiring ones, too!

◊    Each year, some artists choose to do interactive booths, allowing visitors to get their creative juices flowing and take home something they created themselves.

◊    Bringing together artists and entrepreneurs from all over the greater Atlanta area, Artlantis is the perfect place to meet local talent and get to know the people who help shape this city’s rich culture.

◊ It’s fun, there’s nothing else quite like it, and the more the merrier!

Judi ChicagoWAYS YOU CAN

Please begin promoting asap! If you’ve been confirmed as a participating artist, consider promoting Artlantis as a way for you to promote your art. When you share Artlantis with people, add pics of your art, too! Let’s continue to build the excitement and community aspect of the festival. Here are some suggestions on how to promote:

◊    Post comments on our blog, share it with your email list or on your website: Also, blog about us!

◊    “Attend” the facebook event and “invite” as many people as you know as well. It takes a while but hand-picking people to invite in your address book is much more effective than just “sharing” an event on facebook.

◊    Share the event, too, anyway. And post comments with pics of your art and your website there as well:

◊    Become a “fan” of the facebook page. post info about your art and “share” this page with all your friends:

◊    Ask people to help with the festival! We love volunteers. This can mean a variety of things. If you’re interested in volunteering, shoot us an email at

We thank you in advance for your support and we hope to see you there!

  1. We’re excited to be a part of it and looking forward to seeing the other booths as much as having our own. It should be a fun rain-free day!
